She crushes on him as a teen, but he is oblivious and doesn't see her "that way" until she is in her 20s. It is mentioned at one point that Sesshomaru and Rin were like Toga and Izayoi, so I figured she grew up with him protecting her. I've always fallen for older guys and liked the friends-to-lovers tropes, so this will hit both of those. I've tried to include little Easter eggs and nods to Inuyasha and Yashahime. Complete but still likely contains a few errors here and there. Fan fiction disclaimer: I do not own this series. I love Rumiko Takahashi's world and wanted to add to it.
