When I was growing up I heard this story about this weird little boy. He's name was Tommy Smith. He was a silent boy he really didn't talk not even to he's family but one day tommy was walking home from school.and this group of bully's run up and hit him in the back of the head and said watch where your going. The biggest bully was named Mark and he loved hurting things so he grab tommy and slammed him. Mark and he's crew laughed and mark kicked Tommy in the head and said next time next week and laughed. Mark and his crew walked away and tommy was left there. Tommy got up and kept walking home when he got home he's father was yelling at he's mom and he hit her and said you stupid bitch u can't do anything right. Tommy father saw him and grab Tommy with fear in Tommy's eyes he's father ran holding him to he's room and throw him in and said don't u leave this room. No one understands him, until one day when he gets a Behavioural Tutor and a Therapist. He's had them before, but these people seem different. They're willing to listen to him, to learn about him, but in doing so, realise something is off about Tommy. Is he just a cool kid with an attitude, like Techno? Or is there a secret Tommy's tried so hard to hide. One that would explain his behaviour and frequent injuries. One that would make Tommy a victim and not a culprit. Michael's Ghost Girl
This story is not getting the attention it deserves, so I am attempting to "re-brand" it. Maybe no one "gets" it. If you want to read about "Normal" teenagers, maybe this isn't for you, it's more complicated than that. It's about a teenager who doesn't fit it, but doesn't want to, who has the best two friends that anyone could have. Who watched his father lose his job in the Recession and then loses his home, and how he copes, especially when he learns that their new house is haunted and the ghost is in his room. Michael was an average kid, although he's always stood out. He was a school jock but also a skater whose long blond hair almost reaches his waist. When his parents lived in a house in a home owners association like all his other friends, life seemed normal. Then his father lost his job and suddenly those "friends" weren't there anymore--except for his two best friends, Short Round and Dewey. The three are skaters, good ones, who live for girls and their skateboards. They're also basically good kids who take pride in being different without paying attention to it. When Michael loses his home and his family has to move they have his back. And they are there for him when the ghost girl starts following him around. Mariah was murdered when she was just 15, her remains were never found, although no one but her and her ghost friend, Crazy Girl, know where their bodies are buried. The house Michael now lives in is the one where she lived with her family, and her old room is now his. She appears to him one night, trying to taunt him, but against her will she is falling in love with the boy who lives in her old room. Slowly the two begin to fall in love and Mariah tells him her story, and of the hidden danger that lies up the street from him.
