She had stepped down about two steps when there was a loud ear-piercing scream. I looked around everywhere trying to figure out where it had come from. "Allison.." Ashlie said worriedly. She pointed to the top of the water tower where Hannah had just been standing. I gasped in disbelief. She was gone. I ran over towards the ladder and looked all around. There, lying next to a bush, was Hannah, lifeless.

She fell asleep, and woke beneath distant stars. In a world half-remembered, half-imagined, she wove light into broken fates, and carried strangers in her soul. She fought not for glory, but for a love that was never meant to be hers. Some stories are never finished. Some dreams are never truly left behind. And some- some are written forever across the stars. ⸻ "She crossed the threads of the world-and left a story behind." ____________________________ 🌌 Author's Note At first glance, this might look like a self-insert isekai. A girl wakes up in a fantasy world she knows too well, surrounded by the characters she once controlled. Magic hums through her veins. Danger crackles on the horizon. A certain silver-haired vampire watches her a little too closely. But this story is more than escapism. It's more than romance. It's more than a dream come true. It's about what happens after the dream. About the creeping weight of memory, and what it means to forget who you used to be. About the quiet ache of loving people who were never meant to be real. And the question that echoes long after the last page: If you lost the way home... would you still want to go back? This fanfiction is my love letter to Baldur's Gate 3, to found family, to falling in love with stories-and to those of us who've ever wished we could fall into the world that saved us. So, if you've found your way here... welcome. Take my hand. There are stars waiting for us. -Koda ✨ ____________________________________________ Disclaimer: I do not own Baldur's Gate 3 or any associated characters. All rights belong to Larian Studios. The Life Changing Trip

28 parts Complete

"W-w-what do you mean?" my eyes widened in horror, "I promise, I won't tell anyone!" I tried frantically. But even I knew I stood no chance, I've watched enough action and horror movies to know there was no way in hell that they would let a witness go alive. "Gavin, get her." My vision slipped to the tall, lean body that had now started walking towards me. I could take him down, I thought desperately, at least he's not as hulky as the two mountains over there. __ Eva had always had a fear of trains; ever since her cousin died in a train-wreck, she vowed not to even look at a train again. But after so much nagging from her friends, she agrees to go with them on the school trip, despite her immense fear of trains. What she didn't know though, was how much one single trip was going to change her life forever.
