This is a fanfic of Heatwave x Quickshadow from Rescue Bots. It is not canon to Rescue Bots and therefore I have chosen to take creative liberties not only with the ship but with the background characters as well:
- I hc HW & QS are both ace so their relationship and feelings for each other in this fic are asexual (no scenes or descriptions of being attracted to one's physical appearance/kissing, suggestive touch, or sexual activity; everyone's journeys and experiences are different, please be nice, all that should matter here is respect)
- I also ship Blades x Chase and it is mentioned/implied in this fic, it's not a main ship so hopefully if you don't like it it won't pop up enough to bother you
- I hc Blades as nonbinary so I will use gender-neutral pronouns & terms for them, this is a hc and if people would like to refer to them using masculine pronouns & terms in the comments, I will not be upset
- I'm aware I'm about to make a lot of people angry but I hc Hotshot & Medix as twin brothers (sons of HW & QS) and HW is Blades' older brother; this will come up and I kindly ask you to either respect it or not read; I respect those who ship Medix x Hotshot &/or Heatwave x Blades, but again, these are my hcs and this is my fic so please respect my choices :)
- Heatwave & Quickshadow's families will eventually be brought up, the characters I use for them are original/OCs
I'm always open to chapter requests, please keep in mind it takes me a long time to write, will try to post holiday specials
