Ariella Lake, a twenty-one year old girl who lives in Woolwich, England. She and her boyfriend of five years are going through a lot in their relationship after Ariella becomes a model and public figure. But then Ariella loses him and no one knows who killed him...after they rule it a murder, and so then she decides after the police's slow progression, 0%...she is going to find his killer. After all he was not even five feet away from her when he ran away from the scene, it couldn't be that hard, right? 
Wrong. 
So after a ton of dead ends she gets her best friend, Nicki Reynolds, to help her with the investigation. And right when they start to get answers, not only does Ariella go off the deep end but then her and Nicki start to receive notes, help..? Maybe, but the girls don't know because one minute it goes from information about Kyle's death, to threats and blackmail.
