When Blake Belladonna passes away, the rest of team RWBY fall into sadness and anger. Weiss tries her best to hold herself together, Ruby tells herself Blake's really okay and she's just in a coma she'll wake up from, and Yang shuts herself away as her partner died without her being able to say goodbye. When they are sent on a mission by Ozpin to get rid of a Grimm infestation on Mt Ebott, they are silly enough to fall down into the abyss of the mountain, but are saved by a black cloaked stranger with a Grimm mask and black cat ears.
....but that's only the story she created.
