If asked what her ideal life would be, Athena wouldn't wish for much, just for her mother to be in good health, to be out of debt, and maybe if she was feeling particularly adventurous that her father would know of her existence.

Instead, she is left to fend for herself after her mother's death with nothing but a pendant necklace, her father's location, and a death wish. Her goal is simple, to find her father and demand he take her in, however nothing in her life has been or will ever be simple or easy. How is she, a slum rat and now a slave, accompanied by an orphaned child from Sasan, supposed to get to Sindria undetected? And how was she supposed to claim her birthright as the daughter of Sindria's king?
