Living an untold truth.. A lie

One day he asked me " Do u love me..?" His question was so genuine i just wanted to melt in his arms..
I was so happy that my feelings for him were true.. I couldn't say no because I developed feelings for him in a very short time..
I wrote the answer in my book and showed it to him.. Coz i was too shy to express my feelings just by saying it in words I couldn't speak of.

As i realised that the truth which wasn't said is actually a bitter lie..
A lie and pain which I have to carry my whole life..
