Kaylee never wanted to be popular. Not once she discovered the true meaning of it.

After the abrupt divorce of her parents, Kaylee is relocated to her mother's hometown, Stratonville, and ripped away from every sense of normality she had. With her arrival at her new school, Rose Walden High, Kaylee hopes to rid herself of one thing any girl would kill to have: popularity. However, fate has a way of twisting things. Her reckless thinking and friendly disposition take her on a roller coaster to the top of the infamous social ladder. And being thrown into the center of attention, Kaylee thinks her plan can't detour any further.

   Only, it does.

Greeted by a not-so-familiar face of an.. acquaintance, things are about to get messy for her. Still, Kaylee is sure she can handle all of this. That is, until an unfortunate skill of hers resurfaces-

Her tendency of making people fall for her.

The Best Kind of Betrayal

35 parts Complete

It's the first day of June's senior year and everything is already going wrong. Her first boyfriend and supposedly love of her life dumps her for someone else, her heart is broken and feels like it won't ever heal again and her best friend makes her join the most unnecessary club on earth to help her find new friends she most definitely does not need. Still. New chances are for new beginnings, right? Instead of falling into a deep dark pit of self pity (however tempting that may sound), all of this betrayal ends up leading her to the best friends she's ever had and the most exciting school year of her life. Oh - and a whole new fake boyfriend, to get some revenge on that idiot who dumped her. And who knows. Maybe even more.
