Cedrina is a freak of nature. Created in a dusty basement by a madman who believed he was her father, she quickly learns to hate mankind. They do not want to share their world with her kind, so the people will kill them.
Luca is the son a general and a newly appointed general himself. He lost something that was his in the last battle versus the freaks, he will not lose again. He will gain his father's respect, and perhaps something else.....
