Book One in The Dolphin Prophecy. Clicks is about instincts - feels. Those moments the universe stops to tell you what's going to happen next. Sixteen year old Cami has been looking forward to this summer forever. She's finally old enough to compete in the elite category for the annual Surf Carnival that takes place on Pinhold, her little tiny island that is home to an extraordinary number of twins and the most perfectly surfable waves in the Pacific. But just as the competitions heat up, the best swimmers go down and suddenly, Cami and her friends are at risk. The Guard, the mysterious organization that runs everything from the town council to the beach patrol to the religious ceremonies, doesn't have any answers. Cami's twin brother Mica is convinced there's a conspiracy at work, but she's too caught up in a new relationship with Mica's best friend to look beneath the surface. And then suddenly, the telepathic link she shares with Mica goes silent. And Cami realizes that if she doesn't take it upon herself to find out what's making her friends sick, she might lose them forever, and go down herself. I do not own Bondi Rescue and do not claim anything as my own aside from Hadlee and the storyline. This is a FANFICTION. I do my best with facts and speech. Although I am not from Australia, I try to look up common and popular slang terms and phrases. I know that some epilepsy facts aren't entirely accurate, and I am trying my best to make them as precise as possible. Hadlee Reid, 20-year-old sister of Bondi lifeguard Harrison Reid, has recently moved from New Zealand to live with her brother after her parents had decided that her condition was too much for them to handle. Hadlee is an epileptic; she relies on medication and the occasional lucky streak to keep her from going into sudden convulsions. Harrison, one of the only members in their family who accepted Hadlee's circumstances, was beyond happy to have his sister come and live with him in Australia, but now he faces another problem. He has kept most of his home life a secret from his fellow lifeguards. Now, he must adapt to having the responsibility of his sister in his care and keep his duties at work unaffected. But when the lifeguards find out about Hadlee and her condition in an unplanned manner, how will they take it? And how will Harrison take it when Hadlee and one of his fellow lifeguards take a liking to each other? First book in the Epi(lepti)c Series.
