This is my first story, and I'm writing this mostly for fun, so don't get mad if it's not on par with all these gods of writing. Meet Angel, a girl just trying to get by in this living torture she calls a life. Being abused by her father, and living life in constant fear, she does her best to get by. What happenes when she tries to get away from all the hardship, but only ends up finding more? And maybe even finding someone that can save her from her own misserable life. Note from future self: This story is extremely cringy and only gets worse as it goes on. Too Stubborn To Be Broken
So just to warn you, this is one of my first attempts at writing. It starts off a little cliché in a 'too good to be true' sort of way, but hang in there. There's a twist or 2 that might surprise you. I wrote this before The Healer series and wasn't going to publish it, but 'my support group' really thought I should. "Get on your knees." His voice was low, rough, rolling over my skin like smoke. But I didn't move. I stayed exactly where I was, arms crossed, chin lifted in challenge.
