Thus ending the cryptic message constantly thudding against Demara Sterling's wall. Demara had recently move into her new flat, dingy and cold, because her father had lost a lot of money from gambling. She notices, however, a constant pattern of rhyming knocks echoing through her wall. Having taken an interest in cryptography, she soon learns the code, and begins a chat with her new friend.
However, things begin to unfold at school, causing drama and heartbreak for this young girl. Is the Stranger on the Other Side of the Wall her only solace?
