There were only four things that I knew - one, my mother is a crazy, manipulative, psychotic liar who knew how to scare people into not messing around with her. Two, despite my last statement, she has always loved me genuinely without showing any of these ill traits at all; she was always seen as a kind and lovable woman here in this part of New York City. Three, she's out on the run somewhere, trying to hide from the people who caught her in her twisted acts and are trying to track her down. Four, I can't trust anybody at all.

Well, there might be only one last choice I'm going to have to resort to. It'll take a lot of work and money to enlist the help of my estranged father, who in fact lives in Missouri and probably hates my mom (and me) for leaving him so suddenly, which wasn't supposed to happen, but more on that later. Just for now, I need to only rely on myself. First, I need to get out of here, fast.
