The room was dark. I could see nothing. I could hear the gunshots, becoming louder.
The closet's door knob began to rattle. My body stiffened.
"Only one thing could happen."
There was a loud bang. The door was ripped off it's hinges.

I walked into the kitchen and the window was open "strange" I said out loud then from behind me some one strong grabbed me and put his hand over my mouth. I let out a muffled cry and elbowed him in the groin and sprinted to my room. I shoved the objects on my floor to the side and hide under my bed. I started to breath heavily, I pulled my hair out of my face and started to cry quietly under my bed "I'm gonna die" I whispered to myself, then I get a call from my friend Cher "why know?" I say. I picked up the call. "hey" she shouts down the phone "shhh be quiet look, someone tried to grab me in the kitchen" "is this one of your jokes then this is not funny" "no I'm being serious. Oh god I can hear them" "what" "three men one woman, I think. Look call the police" "you" "I can't. Oh my god there near my room" "Yvonne don't panicked-" I felt someone touch my ankles then I screamed out loud so hopefully someone could hear me. They pulled me out from under the bed my attackers had black masks on over their face. One was tall and beefy, one was tall and slim, one had long broad shoulders and the other one was muscular and tall. The beefy one raised his hand and slapped me across the face. I felt the hot shearing pain spread across my face and on my red cheek, I let a tear escape then my vision started to go blurry when they put a cloth across my mouth then darkness.Concluída

I woke up at six at night to a loud alarm I went to the computer and it flashed PLEASE EXIT THE BUILDING IN THE NEXT 5 minuets 37 seconds and it started counting down. The printer was printing off the file I grabbed it, yelled for the twins, and ran to the garage. I opened the garage door and pulled off the cover to reveal a navy-blue Chevy Silverado, but no keys I ran back in to the house and tore apart the bed room until I found them. The clock was at 2 minutes 15 seconds I found the twins asleep on the couch, so I flipped it "what the hell" Jazz screamed "we need to go" I yelled back shoving them to the garage. I jumped in to the front seat and started the engine we were a mile away when we heard the explosion. I guess this is my life now I thought looking at the rising ball of fire in the rear view.Concluída

When I ran into the hall, I spotted my dad stuffing guns in a bag. I was confused about why we had to leave. My mom grabbed my arm as my dad zipped the bag and swung it over his shoulder. I silently reached to my loaded gun, an SKO Shorty, and carefully pulled back the hammer. I silently crept up the unstable metal stairs, aiming my gun at the door at the top. The heavy metal door creaked. Something was behind it. The door pushes open to reveal a man. A human. He slowly reaches into his pocket and pulls out a crinkled yellow paper. I grab the note, while lowering my gun. I look up only to find the man gone. I unfold the paper. It's hard to make out the words in red ink with the dim lighting of the sewer tunnel. Eventually, I'm able to decipher, "34.0522' N, 118.2437' W". Coordinates. At the bottom of the note, scribbled out in black in, there's one phrase. My lungs and muscles burned. Everything in my body begging me to stop but I had to keep moving. I had to get away. I rather die than go back to that lab but this building was a maze! Never ending hallways and big metal sliding doors that you see in space movies. All I could hear was the patter of my bare feet, heavy breathing, and my heart beating in my ears. "Hey!!! Stop her! Whatever you do, do NOT let her get away!!" A man yelled after me but I couldn't look back. Even as I heard the whoosh of metal doors opening and the thudding of boots chasing after me.Concluída

I then sat down in a dark corner, near the front entrance. I then heard heavy footsteps approaching near me. "Crap! We lost her sir..." One guy said. "Ugh..lets head back to the chief...I am sure he has something else planned..you two! Stay here..just in case you bump into her" The other guy said. *5 seconds later* "Gosh, stop bleeding" I whispered as my ankle was bleeding so bad, my jeans looked like I walked in a puddle of blood. I tried putting my hands on it and applying pressure, but that obviously didn't work. I then saw a cloth to my right (how convenient), I grabbed it and applied pressure to my wounds. I looked around, and I noticed a few soldiers coming towards the building that I am in. I slowly got up, and started limping towards a staircase towards my right. "Hey...do you hear that?" One guy said. "Hear what?" The other said. "Someones in that building! Go!" The first guy said. CRAP...I have to run...come on legs. That's when I got some random boost in me, and I started running up the staircase. It was like 20 stairs before I made it to the top. CRAP...the cloth! Now, they will definitely know i'm here. "A bloody towel! Someone's in here! ..The stairs have blood on them..go go!" One yelled. I quickly had to think of a way out of this building. That's when I noticed a window to my left. I ran to the window, as I heard heavy footsteps coming up the stairs. I then noticed that the window was already open without screening in it, I climbed out the window ledge, and jumped onto the lower part of the roof. I had my body up against the building, and started moving to my right around the corner of the building, hoping to not be seen. "Clear! Sir, nobody is here..." One guy. "Ugh, she escaped..."The other said. I jumped of the roof, and started running.Concluída
