With barely any time to get away, or any time for themselves, Daryl becomes overprotective. Will Daryl's overprotectiveness put a dent in their relationship? Will the group ever make it to King's County? Who will they meet along the way? Who will survive? The most important question is: Who is willing to stay together, and fight, side-by-side?

After seeing her father's colleges, and even her own mother perish to flesh eating monsters, she stops kidding herself and starts training for the day she gets out of the facility and has to face the real world. Although that day might have to come sooner than she'd like, everything starts to sink in as she decides to ignore her father and ask Vi what the countdown on the wall means. Casey doesn't really want to face the outside world, especially since her father seems so keen on staying until the end, but she also doesn't want to die in that building at the young age of twelve. All she finds herself doing is training, waiting, and hoping that something happens. So, when Rick Grimes and his group enter the CDC wanting help, it seems like her prayers were answered. Leaving the building and stepping into a walker-infested world after losing what's left of her family isn't the easiest thing to do, but she has a new group of people ready to help her. But still, something for the pain would always help, and the boy with the pretty eyes seems like a good enough distraction. Charlotte Marie Jenner is the daughter of the only surviving doctor at the CDC in Atlanta. When a group comes banging on the door Charlotte convinces her dad to let them in and give them a chance. Once the group is inside their eyes are opened by what Dr. Jenner has to say about the virus that has brought on the apocalypse. Charlotte can't help but admire the man that is different from her in every way imaginable, she is intrigued by the bad boy that has entered their world. That night they do nothing but talk and she immediately feels a connection to this man in front of her. When the clock counts down the zero the truth about the end of the CDC is revealed, no one is getting out. Dr Jenner locks everyone in to meet their end. Charlotte tries to convince her dad to let them leave, that it isn't fair, it isn't his choice how they die. When he finally lets everyone go, Charlotte wants to stay, her dad is all she has left. "It's too dangerous out here, you said so yourself." "I will never leave your side, I will always be there to keep you safe." "Promise?" "Promise." Charlotte takes the chance.....but can she live with the consequences?
