"April 15th, 1945. My eyes took in the terrifying sights, the living nightmare that was this Nazi camp. A large compound, secured by a barbed wire fence. Smoke and dust escaped into the sky above and the smell of death and decay haunted the fields around it. The clouds weren't white, the sky wasn't blue, the trees weren't evergreen and the air wasn't pure. This place was a combination of nightmares, fears and lost hope." See the horrors of the Second World War from the eyes of a British soldier named William Roy Merrick. He will be faced by the wrath of war, emotional situations that'll rip his heart in two and enough horrors for a lifetime. COPYRIGHTED. DO NOT COPY OR PLAGIARIZE. WARNING: THIS IS A MATURE SHORT STORY, CONTAINS MANY GORY DESCRIPTIONS. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK.

35 days. A siege nearly ten years in the making. 300 French defenders attempt to hold off nearly 10,000 English assailants from the vital port town of Harfluer. As casualties from disease mount on both sides, the French can only pray for relief. Relief that will never come. Based on true events. The town of Harfluer courageously held out against England's greatest warrior king, Henry V, for over a month. This is their story. Trigger/Content Warning: this is a war story so there is extreme violence throughout. Very traumatic deaths of major characters (Day 28-30). A character has a panic attack on page. There is an extended sequence that can inspire claustrophobia (Day 5). Could be triggering to those with a fear of drowning (Day 5). Profanity throughout out. Rape is discussed (primarily preventing it, nothing shown). Brief minor sexuality, characters kiss briefly, and are shown in bed together, nothing more. Alcohol use throughout
