The Connie

With the voyages of the older ships of Starfleet, the SS Enterprise (NX-01 Refit) and the Daedalus class starships, Starfleet has used her fleet well, but it is time for a new ship to sail among the stars. She was designed for longer mission duration and multiple roles as are required of all starships. She is the prototype of a new type of starship class. Constitiution class. With Warp 8 engines and larger secondary hull, she is the largest starship built by Starfleet to date. She is commanded by Captain Robert April, who is also overseeing her updates and modifications as the trial period progresses.
