(WARNING: this is the first real fic i ever wrote, I was in middle school, I know that it's horrible but don't judge it too bad thanks) When Gerard Way and his little brother Mikey are sent to a New York boarding school, Gerard should've known what hell would break loose the second he met the cocky, arrogant, and undeniably hot Frank Iero. the world is coming to an end. every human is tested and separated into 3 groups; the elite, the gifted, and the unwanted. Gerard Way was placed in the group of the gifted for his artistic skills but because those skills aren't necessarily needed, his name has been placed into a military lottery. Those who are chosen are sent to war or they sweep the streets for the unwanted. every year, 5 people are chosen and this year, Gerard happened to be one of them. Frank Iero happens to be part of the unwanted. for all anybody knows, he's dead, but he isn't. he's hiding in the sewers, keeping himself alive. the unwanted are sent to a camp where they'll be executed. there are always those who escape but most are killed on sight. Frank on the other hand is sneaky and he got out. now he hides out with the rest of the escapees. what's gonna happen when Gerard meets Frank? Completed!!Complete
Wintertime (Frerard, Sequel to Summertime)
Frank is twenty eight: he's mentally stable for the most part, and well nobody has to know about pills he takes twice a day, do they? He's normal now, he's a person now, he's a fucking adult with an office job and he fucking hates it and that's fine, because he got out of the mental hospital three years ago, and these past three years of mundane nothingness have been the best three years of his life. Ten years ago, or so, Frank was in love with a boy called Gerard with fiery red hair and the personality of a switchblade knife, and ten years ago that boy called Gerard had killed himself. Frank still saw him though: hallucinations, as he knew them to be now, and it took him years in a hospital he never thought he'd get out of to convince himself of his newfound sanity, but he was okay now. Twenty eight year old Frank Iero had been officially 'okay' since he was twenty five. He hadn't seen Gerard again, and he didn't even think about the guy - he was just normal, and he was almost painfully content with being the secretary to someone with a five figure salary. But of course, on one fateful morning in December, that has to go and change, doesn't it? (Technically a sequel to Summertime, but I wouldn't say you need to have read Summertime to understand and enjoy this)Complete

Gerard's parents are religious, they value their beliefs above their sons. But Gerard doesn't believe in such things. Gerard was different than all the other people his age. He always had been. No one seemed to understand his strange ways, except for his brother, Mikey. Mikey was the only person Gerard gave a shit about, in fact, he truly loved his brother. Without his brother, Gerard would be alone. Oh yeah, did I mention Gerard was gay? When Gerard's parents found out, days later, there was one less member in the Way household. The night he was disowned, started as any ordinary day, and ended in silence. Gerard was kicked out of the home, with nothing but the clothes he was wearing, and whatever was in his pockets. As he stepped out the door, he took one final look at his brother. Mikey's facial expression was somewhat emotionless, but his eyes flooded with tears. That final fucking glance, it would haunt them forever... Gerard way and Frank Iero have always passed each other in the hallway but never spoke a word to one another. They are both alike in many ways. Both loners who feel like they don't quite belong. Frank mostly spends his days depressed and alone. The occasional hurtful remarks from his fellow classmates and father wearing him down. Frank's family issues seem to swallow him hole which is mainly why he feels like throwing in the towel... permanently. Gerard lives to protect those he cares about. Though, he has a bit of an edgy attitude most people learn to respect. There's more to Gerard than what the outside shows. His brother Mikey and best friend Ray know glimpses of how he really feels, and how complications from the past really fuck with his behavior. But, their differences don't keep them apart considering these strangers are forced into each other's lives when Gerard finds Frank attempting to commit suicide. Can Gerard help Frank without revealing his own problems and emotions or will they become too much to bare? *Trigger warning *Still editing mistakes( I'm fully aware my grammar sucks) *also warning this is terribly written. Gerard and Mikey have been friends with Ray for years. They hung out all the time until Mikey and Ray started dating. Since then, Gerard has been going to the local bars to pass his time. He really only goes for the local bands and inspiration for upcoming projects of his. Frank Iero is in one the bands Gerard has seen. Gerard finds it intriguing when he watches him play for how he gets lost in the music. Gerard ends up drawing Frank and when Frank finds out, he wants to get to know Gerard as Gerard wants to know him as well. The two end up becoming roommates and tensions run deep but they don't know if the other had the same feelings or if they are just wasting each other's time.Complete
