Destined For Doom

An original story...

King Walter and his wife, Queen Ferilith, were over the moon to discover that they had two new twin girls. Unfortunately that happiness was snatched away when they learned that one of their daughters was destined for greatness, whilst the other was destined for doom.
Walter demanded the doomed baby was killed, but Ferilith went behind her husband's back to save her daughter, by giving her to a young couple who could raise the child as their own.
All is well, until seventeen years later when the doomed princess returns. However, Cassandra is unknowing of her real family. She lands herself a job unexpectedly as Princess Maxine's maid, who is also unaware that she is a twin. At the castle Cassandra attends balls, meets princes, and learns things about herself that she didn't know before.
But no matter how hard you try, secrets can never remain buried...
