Scarred

It was called the Wailing Death because it only affected children. All children who fell ill died. All except one. In a small village, the sole survivor of the plague is left scarred and ostracized. How did she survive? Was it magic, or are the ugly scars left on her face the mark of a curse?

Aveline is contented to live on the outskirts of the village she once called home. She has an uneasy alliance with the werewolf pack that share her wooded home.
