Collete is a freshman in college, and has been looking forward to starting all over again and becoming a more mature person. She is letting her freeloader best friend live with her for a while until she can start paying loans herself, and though she can be annoying at times, Crys is the person that Collete enjoys being with. She is living a happy life and is working towards the goal of getting a doctoral degree.
That is until Collete drives home on a bad work night, and gets fired from her job. She had been feeling sick, and falls into a stroke in the middle of the highway.
Collete has died.
