Caldon is a water nymph, better known to the surface world as a merman. His kind have remain hidden from the humans for centuries however trouble has been brewing among the clans as a power struggle has led the two opposing sides to the brink of war. His parents realizing where this would go decided take Caldon and run away to the surface world, breaking one of the most sacred rules.
Literally a fish out of water, Caldon attempts to blend into society by going to Trenton High, where he can learn about human culture from the professionals. Caldon soon finds that sprouting a tail in Algebra may be the least of his problems. It seems he has caught the attention of Ian, the varsity swim team captain. How will he ever keep his secret in this unfamiliar world?
