Kyliana doesn't have a clue on experiencing love. Her mother may give her food and shelter, however she still doesn't give Kyliana the love every child should get. She's learned to be with herself and only herself. It's her last year of high school and she's been forced to be partners with Jake the most popular guy in school, in her SPHE class. He's super confident and super cute. When they start working together Kyliana feels different around him. She finally wants to be herself, but she's never been loved before. This story follows Katie through the final months of her senior year in high school. Her nonexistent relationship with her mother doesn't stop her from living her life to the fullest. She's also excited about becoming an aunt and is counting down the days until her older sister delivers. Her nurturing personality causes her to stop and sit with a boy being bullied in her school.
