Claire has always wanted to be a star, someone to be known. She's moved to New York from her small town in Ohio to chase her dreams, as did some of her school mates from her old show choir group. Peter, a friend who joins Claire in the dream to Broadway, has always been Claire's crush, since she could last remember. Peter leads her on, and she is ready to ask him out.
