Troye and Connor are neighbors but they don't know each other exists. Connor had been living in his house for a couple years now, while Troye had just moved in. Connor had seen the family and it was a big one, he saw two parents and 3 kids, but little did he know there was one more kid. 
The new school year was about to start and Troye and his siblings would be attending the same high school as Connor
