Chosen ones

what would you do if you were given a power would you protect those close to you or would you use them to dominate and talk control of everything around you. A group of guys woke up one morning during things they normally wouldn't be able to do, but for a certain group these power just come with more problems and a ominous prophecy. Will this group decide to split off on their own to protect their friends or will they allows themselves to be helped.
