Creator: Friend or Foe?
This story began as a NaNoWriMo 2012 work, with no planning, and even less idea of plot. I learned from that experience that I am not a 'pantser' -and spent about 20 painful months trying to turn my stream-of-consciousness 3-stories-in-one into one coherent novel, following the timeline and events in the Book of Genesis. I discovered that that is not a great way to build a plot. I ended after 5 more drafts, at about 60k words. There is another draft on my blog, slightly longer, a bit more experimental. Have you ever gotten the feeling that everything you do is for nothing? Do you feel that no matter how hard you try, the world will always move on without you, whether you like it or not? Is it difficult to keep up in this current of events everyone else calls existence? Yeah... me neither... What? Do I have to put a meaningful and insightful description of the story?
