Something lit inside Tony's eyes. To Cap, it looked like an idea. He wasn't sure if he was supposed to be scared or glad. Tony was notorious for bad ideas, though half of them usually ends up working out. In this situation, Steve just prays it was on the road to recovery rather than something incredibly stupid that he was going to have to clean up.
"So let me get this straight," Tony said, now returning to his old persona. His tone was different, his face was impassive. Oh boy... "you'll do whatever you can to help me? Even if it's a little extreme?"
Steve took his time to answer, "It really depends on the task."
"So I have a 50% chance here," he mumbled, more to himself than Steve. Steve raised an eyebrow.
"What are you getting at, Tony?"
