A few years ago, I read the (epic) series, The Underland Chronicles, and was satisfied with the ending. This year, I read the books again. No. That couldn't be the ending...could it? It seemed much too open, far too much to be interpreted. So, I decided to write one final book to finish off the story, which seemed to have far too many loose ends to be a complete conclusion.
Resume:
It's been many years since Gregor has left the Underland for the last time. He's tried to keep it out of his mind, but lately he's been having visions of the place-and not good ones. Due to circumstances out of his control, Gregor is forced to return to New York, where disaster strikes. Gregor winds up back in the Underland, where a new threat is poised to destroy the Underland...and the Overland above it. Forced to reprise his old role as warrior, Gregor now stands between two worlds as he struggles with the guilt of an act that he committed three years ago.
When I finish this, I plan to mail it to Suzanne Collins for permission to publish it. This is why I need at the feedback I can get. I hope that you enjoy my version of the end of the story. Please note that it is not finished yet.
DISCLAIMER:**This story is intended for those aged twelve or older. It is recommended that you read the original Underland Chronicles series if you wish to get the best experience out of reading this book.
