This is a story about a young woman who faces challenges with her family, and feels like she has nowhere to go when faced with adversity. She leans on her therapist, a stuck up doctor who thinks her Harvard degree means she knows what Jamie is going through, but grows to love the tenacious girl who walked into her office. It also delves into the life of a young man who despite his very retro upbringing learns to accept the differences between himself and Jamie and adores her with every fiber of his being. ~~~ Later that day as the sun started to set and the moon came out I scurried over to the place I had been calling home for the past month. And you most certainly aren't worthless." I gasp to breathe, and he continues talking. "What you are is an amazing person who hasn't let all of this crazy bullshit affect her. You handled it like a champ. What you are is a strong, brave being that has stood by my side." I breathe as he leans closer. "What you are, is the love of my life...."
