This is a story about a young woman who faces challenges with her family, and feels like she has nowhere to go when faced with adversity. She leans on her therapist, a stuck up doctor who thinks her Harvard degree means she knows what Jamie is going through, but grows to love the tenacious girl who walked into her office. It also delves into the life of a young man who despite his very retro upbringing learns to accept the differences between himself and Jamie and adores her with every fiber of his being.

Later that day as the sun started to set and the moon came out I scurried over to the place I had been calling home for the past month. "Hi Sally. How have you been?" I greeted the security guard that was on duty tonight. The women's shelter downtown had been giving me a small cot to sleep on for a while now. "Not so good darling." She had an adorable southern accents that normally made me feel safe, but tonight her tone seemed worried. "What's going on that has you worried?" She gave me a serious look. "There's a woman in there named Serena, says she's your mother, and that she's taking you home."
My body went stiff. And then I ran...

Adrianna parties and gets drunk and smokes all the time. One day she just can't stand staying with her dad for any longer and goes to her neighbor Daniel's house till her friend picks her up. She went back completely wasted and needed a place to stay for the night since her dad was on her ass about getting drunk so she stays with him. I hope you like the book, there is going to a mild amount of swearing and lots of drinking and smoking. Everything is made up beside the state they live in. "Who are you?" I asked, still left in the shock and scared state that came over me when gunshots were heard. I look up to his face which was hidden behind a dark shadow and bit my lips as silence fell between us. A frown made it's way onto my face as I looked at the mysterious man who refused to tell me who he is. He stood tall in front of me as we fell into silence again but only for a few seconds before he began to slowly move towards me. His face slowly being exposed to the light, giving me a glimpse of his icy grey eyes. "let's go" he spoke again before turning around. I hesitated a bit before turning around and for some reason followed behind him. ─── ･ ｡ﾟ☆: *.☽ .* :☆ﾟ. ─── Ariana is a 26-year-old young lady, employed at a famous bar in New York City. She loves her job to her heart and counts it as a blessing since it helps in paying her bills. So everything was going quite well in her life, except for the fact that her boss hated her, but apart from that she was okay and everything was going well...but all of that came to an end on one specific night when she found herself in the arms of danger after encountering a mysterious yet dangerous man, who had also happen to have a lot of enemies. And since she had encountered him, she had been targeted as a worker for him and so she was promised that her life will be protected by the mysterious man as a returned favor for her saving his life. She has now entered a world where chaos, lies, hurt, death and truth reside and will find herself in a place where though decisions are thrown at her. -"Why are you crying?" What, I didn't know I was crying. -"Come on." He offers a hand to help me up. -"Stay away... from me." I get up on my own a grunt escaping my lips when I feel pain in my knees. -"Your knees!" He crouches down to look at them up close. -"Oh don't act as if you care." I look down and see he has wet hair, which is reasonable since he came out of the bathroom. *Swoop* He scoops me up, my injured knees on his left and my head rests on his right shoulder. I hitch as he picks me up. -"What do you think you're doing? Put me down this instant!" I try to wiggle out of his arms, but it's useless, he holds me tighter to his chest. He gently places me on the bed, and I sit on the edge, I instantly throw my hand to his face intending to slap him. As if it were muscle memory he blocks my hand and gently holds it. He crouches down not breaking eye contact. -"Stella, I'm... sorry. I acted out on you." I know Jacob, and that probably was hard for him to admit. -"Let me treat your knees." He places a gentle hand over my wound. ~ ~ ~ ~ Her Dad was murdered fighting for what was right, her mom didn't love her dad all that much...or her, she plans to follow her dad's footsteps even though that might lead her to death. Her parents had a planed marriage, her mom was more on the medium class while her dad was lower, that said, he needed money to help some important people and ended up marrying a women he didn't love. She has an awful opinion of men. She loved her dad, but she was still mad at him, for his decisions. A little something might happen in her life to change that perspective.Complete

Sam's p.o.v- My heart beat loudly in my ears. A soft smile played on my lips as I kissed all over her forehead, face, anywhere I could. She nuzzled into my chest and I sighed in content. Thoughtlessly, I placed my hand on her chest, covering her tattoo. She froze, glancing at my hand and then at me. I could feel her heart beat quicken, causing me to look up. "I don't think I can express how much I love you," I sighed, making her grin. "You can try," She prompted, causing a smirk to spread across my face. "I can," I agreed, gently pushing her down and hovering over her. "You know," She mumbled as she looked up at me, pushing my hair behind my ear, "I hate it when you're mad at me." "Me too," I admitted, leaning down and kissing her. Basically it starts off with Sam trapped in the basement of that crazy woman British Men Of letters person. He's all alone and he thinks Dean is dead, he doesn't know Marie is alive (obviously) and he doesn't know where Cass is. All of the sudden though, a woman he doesn't know comes to his rescue, seeming to know all about him). She takes him back home and meets Dean (who is very shocked to see this random lady with his tortured brother) She meets Cass and they know each other. A bunch of stuff happens, and she's got some dark secrets. Her and Sam's relationship blossoms into a fluffy ball of adorable that made me happy to write. (The overall theme fits the song Windows by Angel Oleson really well and I'd recommend you listen to it. Also, yes I know at some parts it's really cringey but I was a baby writer for the first parts of the book. It gets better and I'm really proud of it. I'm gonna try to go back and edit it but I'm really busy recently.)Complete

He also plays bass guitar and fills in from time to time in NYC for a band managed by his other best friend from college and law school, Chad, who's also an attorney and works for the same law firm as Spencer. He uses most of his money he to help pay for Chester's care for which insurance barely helps with. He's the polar opposite of Carolynn; pessimistic, jaded, bitter about pretty much everything and has a terrible habit of getting in his own way. He gets offers for better, well paying or going out with a new girl because, among other reasons, he thinks he doesn't deserve it.
