Stepping Backstage

Lanaya Kane is comfortable where she is. She has a best friend, a steady (though frustrating) job, and a good report card. Now, all she has to do is focus on surviving the next two years of high school, and she can go off to a good college and succeed. However, when challenged to a game of truth or dare that prompts her to audition for the school play, Lanaya finds herself cast as the female lead... Opposite the star of the drama department. With that one production, everything is thrust into turmoil, with Lanaya struggling to stay afloat.
