In a small Norwegian village, one of the enemy is captured.... But no matter what they try, he simply will not die. Frustrated, the village leader settles for leaving this enemy tied to a stake in the middle of the village, where he is given no food or drink, and spat on and kicked by passerby's. He is terrified, desperate, and alone. But the country's own personification takes pity on the Dane one night, and brings him a meal. Denmark remembers this even to modern day, and though he knows it was Norway who did it, Norway does not know not was Denmark he helped all those years ago.
