The Moon's Silent Steps by writersvocational_33

Cecilia was born to dance, but it was the night the moon wept that she was truly transformed. Alone in the quiet of her garden, she witnessed an impossible phenomenon: a single silver tear fell from the sky, shimmering as it struck her brow. From that moment, her life was no longer her own. Onstage, her movements became transcendent, hypnotic. The audience swayed with her as if pulled by an invisible tide, their breaths rising and falling in unison with her every pirouette. The moon had chosen her, granting her powers over water, dreams, and the delicate threads of emotion. But these gifts came with an ache, a sense of longing she couldn't explain-a yearning for something, or someone, she had yet to encounter. When her ballet company merges with another, Cecilia meets Achlys, a dancer whose presence feels as inevitable as the moonlight she wields. Achlys moves like shadow incarnate, his steps sharp and deliberate, as though carving the darkness itself. His secrets are deep, his gaze piercing, and though he speaks little, Cecilia feels their destinies entwined. Together, they are cast as the leads in The Phantom Swan, a ballet as haunting as it is beautiful. Cecilia's role as the luminous swan is mirrored by Achlys as the shadow that pursues her, their onstage chemistry an echo of something far older than either of them. Yet, as rehearsals progress, Cecilia's powers grow stronger-and more dangerous. Achlys presence seems to draw them out, and the tides within her threaten to consume her completely. It is only through Achlys that Cecilia learns the truth: the drop of moonlight that touched her was no accident. It was sent by the moon goddess herself, a celestial being whose influence stretches beyond what either of them can comprehend.

Life was dull, boring, and mechanical. I’ve always wondered if this would change. If something interesting will happen. I always hoped something interesting will happen. A falling meteor that would destroy half of town, an alien invasion, or even the Apocalypse. Anything, just to relieve me of this monotonous life I lead. “Urgh,” I groaned as I reached over to turn off the alarm clock that sounded like a hundred sirens in the early hours of dawn. The golden sun hasn’t come out to expel the surrounding darkness yet. I figured it would take an hour more or so for the sun to show its shining face, so I decided to eat breakfast and take a bath first. But little did I know that today was the day that my life would change. It was the day I met her. ---------- A short story. Hey guys! This is my first try writing a pure romance story. I hope you'll like it. :D This story will be rarely updated, since I'm busy with school and stuff. So, sorry in advance. ~Just Perfect EDIT: As of 03/29/14 (arranged in this order: dd/mm/yy), this story has deviated from its original "pure romance," into something worth delving deeper into. Quite interesting. And because of this... "something worth delving deeper into," I have decided to continue the story with a PART TWO! Though that will have to wait until after Exile. Or maybe when I get tired of Exile and hope to continue this again. But either way, there WILL be a part two for those who want more zoophilia. Cheers! 03/31/14 (again, in the dd/mm/yy order): Added a simple cover. Will be using this until I am able to draw a better image resembling both of the girl's forms. August 6, 2014: New cover. I like it.

Wren's life is about to change forever - but not how she expects it to. Kidnapped on her wedding day, she finds herself trapped in a mountain cave, unable to return home with no company outside of the inhuman creature that took her. *** "Wait, Wren! Not that way!" It was darker here and panic limited her vision, but she could see it reaching for her; its wings like two huge looming shadows behind it. "Get away! Don't touch me! No, let me go!" She shrieked. She screamed in earnest as a hand took hold of her arm, and then even more when her own hand reached for something to hang onto and grasped at empty air. She had been scrambling towards a sudden drop! The hands hauled her back, but she still struggled. She didn't want to look at it, and she still wasn't sure she wouldn't rather take her chances with the open air instead. "Stop it, I'm not going to hurt you! You'll hit your head on the rock or something. Wren, please!" It knew her name. Somehow it knew her. She was going to die! "Let me go! Stop touching me!" She was sitting on the rocky floor now with her back against an uneven wall, and it was trying to pin her down and hold her still. She kept her eyes turned away and struggled helplessly, but it was no use. It was strong like a human man too, and she couldn't keep it off of her. The wings had moved until they curved around them both and shut out a lot of the light. Its face was so near hers that she could feel its breath brushing against her skin. "Please just look at me for a second. Just look. I'm not going to hurt you." One of the hands grabbed her chin and forced her head to turn, and then she was looking straight into a pair of dark brown eyes. It had a human face too. She had been expecting something monstrous or ghastly, and the surprise made her falter for a moment. He looked young, with a bad haircut and an earnest expression on his face. "I'll let go of you, okay? Just don't lunge around like that anymore, you'll get hurt." He whispered.
