The International Hero Academy is selecting a few of the smartest, toughest and most athletic Heroes In Progress to start a new community. The community, that will be build and lived in with closed gates 24/7, is supposed to be an example of the perfect town. Each HIP has been created and genetically manipulated to have one dominant feature, making them fall into different categories. You've got the smart Blues, the strong Purples, the determined Reds, the loyal Greens, the kind Pinks, the observent Oranges, realistic Blacks, the honest Violets and last but not least the Whites, the failures. Groups have been assembled, landcapes have been created, and only the strongest will survive.

But in the 50th year, the year this story is set, teachers can now kill students and vice versa. At the end of a year, the teams must elect their best player to fight in a battle Royale against other team representatives. The battle Royale lasts for up to five days. The survivors may graduate or pass to the next year, if they do not survive; the rest of the team will be held back. But some players, may go lone wolf. Follow Jason Walker, a young talented writer whom has advanced skill with any knife, and his comrades in their journey through the eight grade. This group's name is the Joking Corpses. The JC contain three of the best fighters in the nation. Mia Fall, an Apex Predator, Jason Walker, a Clawed Predator, And Kai Gracefield, a Wolf in sheep's clothing.
