My name is Valerie I’m 13 I’m a city kid. Grew up in Tampa, in a really expensive home. I’m not the most popular person, but I don’t try to be. Spoiled rotten but I don’t ask for anything really. My family just assumes I want everything everybody else has so you might see me in the new Versace sweater. I would not say I have the best sense of style, but not the worst. I’m not the type of person to throw my wealth and my net worth in to people faces. Everybody tease me about being rich because of how we got our money. (Comes up later in the story).I have no sister’s one brother named mark. I’m in middle school in the eighth he’s in high school in the 12. I forgot to mention my best friend since grade school, her name is Kathy. She’s a teen model for teen vogue, but when she’s not taking pictures she’s a cheerleader, student event organizer and she’s full of life and when she was in 6th 7th she’s been voted most popular and most likely to become a super model, School most perfect. She’s never failed a test but me… let’s just say I have my own tutor for math and social studies. I never get jealous because some girls are always talking about her as if I need any more drama. Marks want to go to college and study the human brain. Believe it or not Kathy wants to be the first president. Me I just want to make it there without everyone trying to Hurt me.

I stood peering over the cold lifeless body that lay before my eyes. I had always thought of death the enemy, but right now, I blessed it upon the person who is now at peace. Someone once said when you pass, if you can count your true friends on one hand you are beyond lucky, and I even though I did not like the person that lay before me, I know that he once had true friends, including me. I'm a 17 year old girl who has suffered more than any other, beginning to believe that 'Hope' was just another word the people throw around. Until I fell in love with a badboy. I am a girl of many issues, issues referring to I'm 14 and have no friends, no boyfriend, and most of all no family. I was adopted when I was five I was adopted by a preppy parents meaning that they live in Beverly Hills and they send me to a private school for girls who look like Paris Hilton.
