Cassandra-or Cassie, Cass, Cat- and Tyler are the best of friends ever since kindergarten. These two are inseparable. Cassandra soon starts to feel different towards Tyler. She feels her heartbeat quicken when he's around. She feels sparks overtime he touches her in the slightest way. Cassandra is sure she fell for Tyler a long time ago and just didn't take notice of it. She feels like confessing her undying-or so thought- love for Tyler, But that's is something she cannot do.
You see, Tyler has started to slowly ditch her for her worst enemy. The so called slut, Heather Thomas. Cassandra is now heartbroken that not only does Tyler not feel the same way towards her but on top of that, he's dating her enemy. So what Cassandra does, is she avoids him; She thinks that by avoiding him, she Will stop feeling this way. Lost and Heartbroken. Her friends are no help, due to the fact that they've never been in love. While ignoring Tyler, She gets paired up with the school's hot badboy named Blake. At first, Cassandra was annoyed by the fact that she was paired up with such a cocky person like Blake, But in the end, she's grateful for that because she is now dating Blake.
At this point, Tyler has finally noticed that he is losing his bestfriend and that he can't live without her. Now it is Tyler's turn to realise that he has fallen for his bestfriend. So what does he do? He confesses to her. Tyler, of course, still has that little piece of Cassandra's heart since he was her first love.
When Tyler confesses, Will Cassandra leave Blake in the dust and run into Tyler's arms, or Will she set things straight between Tyler and her, to stay with Blake, who she might be falling for?
