Sonic and Shadow have been causing trouble and destruction while they do their rivalry fights. Rouge tries to come up with a solution, but Shadow refused to be anywhere around Sonic. So he suggests something, but that made it worse.

Now he was to spend at least an hour with Sonic and hand cuffed. Shadow tempts to just read and sit down while Sonic wants to enjoy running and frolicking around the woods. But Shadow slowly starts to enjoy his time with Sonic, wishing there was more time to spend together. 

Soon Sonic starts to feel the same way. Soon an hour a day isn't enough for them both.
