Naomi "Nam" Barlow was always outside of the loop. Her perturbing social awkwardness blocked her way into cliques like a brick wall.

Her world shifted when she met Mitchell Clark, a tall boy with coffee brown eyes and hair, a plain t-shirt and skinny jeans look, and a damn nice set of teeth.

The only thing is: He's from a family of criminals. His sister has gone to jail numerous times for drugs, stealing, and attempted murder, his mother for illegal possession of weaponry, and his dad was brutally killed by his mother, who never got caught.

Nam never thought she'd ever meet someone she was so comfortable with.

Mitch never thought he'd ever meet someone he wasn't afraid of.
