Amethyst Watson is a seventeen year old genius, who works for SHIELD as a mechanic and scientist. After her mothers death her only living family is her dad, who does not know she exists. This is although not a problem for Amy, who hates her dad for being the reason her mothers career was destroyed and then leaving her with nothing.  

Thanks to director Fury, Amethyst is ordered to live with the Avengers. This causes a lot of problems to surface, the biggest of them being no other than Amy's father, Tony Stark. But Amy has been an orphan most of her life, and we all need a family even if we deny it. 

Will she let bunch of as unbalanced and damaged people as her, make their way to her hearth?  And what happens when something threatens the safety of those people, and the world?
