To start off, battling fate is not a good idea. Don't try it at home kids. Jellal and Erza can tell you that. 

Erza Scarlet. The girl with an unfortunate past. Scoffs at the words 'friend' and 'forever'. Locked away her past and secrets. Then she meets a certain blue haired boy at Fairy Tail High, the wall she has built over the years crumbles to dust after one night. 

 Jellal Fernandez. The boy with a load of regrets. Has girls literally throwing themselves at him, but sees them as toys. When he tries to pick up a scarlet haired girl, his life is flipped inside out and has the gleam of life back in his eyes.
