Lucy Heartfilia is the princess of popularity. She is the most popular girl in Fairy Tail High, she is also the sexiest/hottest girl there, making it quite easy to get boys to fall for her at first sight. However, it was different when she was challenged to make the heartless Natsu Dragneel fall for her. For some reason, he didn't succumb to her charms and good looks, which irritated her even more than his irritating attitude. Lucy walks in the center of the street and lies down. As Natsu takes his morning stroll, he can't help but see the girl laying in the street, ready to die. So, he decides to do something about it. He yells constantly at the girl in the street. She sits up and gazes at him. Then a big truck decides to head right down the street. "Move!" Natsu yells. But it's already to late. Lucy wakes up in a hospital. Only, no sound waves are vibrating in her ears. She's deaf, and the pink-haired guy sitting to her right saved her.
