Harry can't leave his room. If he does, he'll get scolded by his older sister. He has terrible anemia and if he moves around too much he ends up panting or out of breath. Harry doesn't have that many friends, only his older sister Gemma and a childhood friend, Niall. He gets bored easily so he writes and draws.
Louis lives in Harry's neighborhood. He sees his best friends, Liam and Zayn, everyday at school. He doesn't know about Harry until Louis' family is invited over for dinner and he accidentally walks in on Harry taking off his shirt.

Louis likes wearing pastel-coloured outfits and his roommate likes how he looks. His roommate is 3 years younger and encourages Louis to wear them around and in public. The only thing is, is when Harry starts to like Louis more than a roommate and friend and the outfits aren't helping him. After a failed date with Zayn and then Liam, Louis looks for comfort in his best friend, Harry. Louis isn't ready to go on another date, but Harry changes that.
