Fallen Angels

Waves washed up the beach, the low tide licking the bare toes resting ashore.

White silk flowed out in a blooming flower, encasing a sleeping maiden; a porcelain doll untouched by hands unworthy.

Hair made of gold framed her pale face, her soft breaths stirring the strands in front of her closed eyes.

Set ashore by watery hands, she is watched by those unknown to her.

She was a fallen angel cast down by God to watch over the people of the land, at least that is what they believed.

Set in the 1800s sometime.
Angela Heights wakes up on a beach, rather startling for a girl that is supposed to be on a trip around by the colonies with her family. They had been invited by a possible suitor for Angela.

But a storm hit, and the ship sunk. Others may have survived but there was no way for Angela to know.

She is set ashore on an island just north of Barbados. She is found by the natives of the land that believe her to be a messenger of God sent to help them.
