This is a book about a girl named Angelica who is well lost. She has a harsh past and present but she may not have a future. She's a thirteen-year-old foster girl who was always targeted and adopted by abusive people she could never guess why so she never had gotten close to anyone at her school or anyone at all.
Until, she was transferred to Miami, Florida for the same reason she could never keep a good or bad home. That was when her point of view might have been changed and when she was actually happy or so she thought even though she never should it.
But nothing lasts forever.....
