An Eevee named Stanislav evolves into something other than an Umbreon or Espeon to his mother and father's surprise. 

He travels the Hoenn region with his good friend Valentina, a Glaceon, and they end up meeting many new Pokemon along the way as well as having many adventures.

This book takes place in an ORAS au where humans don't exist, and Pokemon have taken their places. Much like the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series, but not in the same universe. They've adapted a culture much like human culture, and they can talk as well as do everyday tasks that humans do.
