Rayne is a new transfer student. He's moved all the way from England to Maine, leaving everything behind, including his boyfriend Cody. He becomes a part of an unlikely group of friends, including Demetri, who he's inexplicably drawn to. Then there's Jace, who seems to really despise Rayne. Demetri and most of his friends welcome Rayne into their group, but what are the life-altering implications of becoming close with them? Demetri's content in his long-term relationship with his girlfriend, but something about Rayne keeps drawing him away from her. Why does Demetri feel this way? What is Jace's problem with Rayne? There are lots of things I would've done different and if there's any views that offend etc, I was young and naive and had no idea what I was talking about. The fact it's got so many reads is crazy to me as it was just something I enjoyed.
