Follow the journey of Sam Gutso, a man who's fed up with his daily routines, as he tries to find the meaning of life and death, and endangers the lives of everyone around him with his selfish actions. Will he find everything he was wanting, or will the answers consume him in the process?

The Grim Reaper makes fun of death. He laughs at it's sight. He lives for it. However, an agreement has been made, decades ago, between Grim and God. The agreement states that Grim would bring the criminals and the "unholy" to Hell but leave the good ones for God to bring up to Heaven, yet Grim manipulates and derides that agreement. As his punishment, he is sent down to Earth in a woman's body. And, within Grim's consequence, God hopes he will learn more about humanity by the most logical way possible- being around them.

Guido's dead, but he hasn't lived yet. Will he get a second chance? Or will Satan have his evil way? Dull Guido has kept himself out of trouble (and life) for 34 years 5 months and 14 days, only to die on the night before he finally has his first big adventure, a world cruise. Graham Reader, the Grim Reaper, tries to help him navigate the world 'up above', only for Guido to find out that there are worse things that death - Satan's tool cupboard.

This is a story about the Grim Reaper and the souls he delivers. The Grim Reaper delivers souls from earth to what most comprehend as the 'afterlife'. When there is the occasional resistance from unwilling souls, he'll retrieve an old memory or feeling of theirs and let them experience it again. It usually works to persuade them to leave the world - souls who had suicidal thoughts in the past, those who lost loved ones and didn't want to continue living without them, and those who did something wrong and felt huge crushing guilt. Until he met a soul who never felt like she wanted to die before.
