When Loki, the war criminal of Manhattan, breaks out of his prison in Asgard, he only plans to send himself to a realm far away from the other gods and Earth. But something goes wrong, and he ends up stranded in New York, a year after the attack, with no allies and nowhere to stay. Now, he juggles time between evading SHIELD agents and trying to get out of Earth. At the same time, Carol Danvers is a pilot training to fight for SHIELD and living with her friends. Her life is normal for a SHIELD agent, until one of her friends turns out to be an alien military captain, his nemesis shows up on Earth to kill him, and the ensuing explosion gives Carol incredible (and very unstable) powers that are nearly impossible to hide from the other agents. While dealing with emotional trauma and struggling to prove herself an Avenger, Carol decides to take matters into her own hands; Capture the renegade God of Mischief and haul his butt back to Asgard. Soon enough, Carol and Loki run into each other, and they reach an agreement - Carol will help Loki leave her planet if he promises to leave it alone in the future. As the two are inexplicably drawn to each other, armadas from other worlds are moving in against them. Carol needs to decide; is Loki in this with her, or are they destined to be enemies? Can Loki redeem himself, or is there too much blood between them?

On Asgard, Odin is critically ill, possibly even dying. Odin has banished Loki to Midgard for all eternity. Odin has sent for Thor to take the throne but Thor refuses because he doesn't want to leave Jane. Thor convinces Odin to lift Loki's banishment, so that Loki can take the throne. Odin then sends Thor to Midgard to find Loki. With the help of Heimdall, Thor finds Loki. He's singing in a Midgardian rock band. Once back on Midgard, Thor tells the Avengers that he must get Loki, so he can take the throne. Thor needs someone to talk to Loki on his behalf. Someone that Loki doesn't know. So, Thor enlists the help of a young woman who's in training to be an Avenger. However, the young woman is the little sister of an Avenger, who doesn't want her to do it. The young woman agrees to do it in spite of her brother's wishes. Thor and the young woman go to the club that Loki is working in so that she can talk to him. The young woman finds Loki and talks to him. When they first met, Loki and the young woman don't see eye to eye, but she manages to convince Loki to go back to the Avengers Tower and talk to Thor. Loki ends up falling in love with the young woman and wants to make her his queen. When Loki arrives at Avengers Tower to talk to Thor, Loki tells Thor that he won't leave without the young woman because he has chosen her as his queen. When Loki tells the young woman that he wants her to go back to Asgard with him as his queen, her brother refuses to let her go. This makes the young woman mad, and she decides to go back with Loki just to spite her brother. Now Loki must convince this high-spirited young woman that he really loves her. While on Asgard, the young woman starts to develop feelings for Loki and ends up falling in love with him. On Asgard, tragedy strikes the royal family, which causes the young woman to get closer to Loki. I took his hands in mine frantically, causing his eyes to meet mine. "Then hand over the Tesseract and come home, Loki. Please." "I can't." He pulled away. "If I'm not allowed rule on Asgard, then I'll rule here." My eyebrows knitted together in desperation. "Loki, pleas-" My plea was cut shot as a burst of energy and the distinctive clang of metal on metal pushed me over into the god of mischief. We stumbled backwards until I laid on his chest and he grunted from the sudden impact. "Thor." I cursed under my breath. "Sorry..." I began lifting myself off of his body. I narrowed my gaze and quickly stood to rush into Thor's aid, ignoring his dejected expression. I was about to leap off the cliff side when I heard four words that had me frozen in my place unlike anything my powers could do. "I still love you." ___________________________________________ (Y/N) Ísveig thought she'd made peace with Loki's death. She couldn't bring herself to forgive him for everything he had done, obviously, but she was finally beginning to live the life she always wanted.
