A mentally crippled boy named Jamie whose past is filled with reckless actions and scaring events is devastated at the loss of a dear friend and nearly kills himself. Another boy of a similar but also stunningly different background finds himself in the same situation for a different reason. The two just happen to find themselves in the same place at the same time, fate as some would call it, and were destined to spend a lifetime together. Will Jamie let his insanity overcome him, or will he let the joy of a new best friend and possible lover turn his life around?
